Reports you submit. When you report a scam, we store the phone number or website you enter, the scam category, any description you add, and a timestamp. Do not include your own or other people's personal information in reports.

Account information. If you create an account, we store your username, a securely hashed password, and — only if you choose to provide it — your email address.

Technical data. We log a truncated or hashed form of IP addresses to prevent abuse and duplicate reporting, along with basic request metadata.

We use submitted reports to maintain a public database of reported scams, to power lookups and leaderboards, and to forward reported scam websites to anti-phishing organizations (such as APWG and Netcraft). We use account data to operate your account and attribute your reports.

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site and to display advertising.

Google AdSense. We use Google AdSense to serve ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

We retain reports to maintain the public scam database. Passwords are stored hashed. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
